You're referring to the fictional intelligence report BuzzFeed published, which could result in a libel lawsuit and Buzzfeed's bankruptcy. Q: What's the difference between Bigfoot and the Buzzfeed story? A: People claiming they saw Bigfoot first-hand actually exist. Q: Is there another difference? A: Some of the Bigfoot stories are plausible.

Interesting. Not sure why you felt the need to point out it was fictional - this was a joke. Not exactly sure how you know it was fictional either.

                          1. It's printed on a letterhead not used by British intelligence, despite that being the supposed source. 2. It contains numerous factual errors, and more errors continue to be pointed out as time goes on. 3. Trump is a germaphobe who spent his whole life avoiding excessive contact with people or potential disease, but his secret vice is spreading body fluids everywhere with random prostitutes? Really? From looking at it, it appears to use American English more than British English, has horrible spelling errors, and seems influenced by election news of the same time period. I'm sure someone will tear it to pieces soon, but it's already fallen apart in so many ways, it's hard to not call it a blatant fake.

Russia is responsible for 9/11 for instance. Without it being necessary to arm militants to fight Russia, the Taliban would not have formed and Bin Laden would have never done 9/11.

If that were true then the so called "libel" law suite would be bogus. Fox's Oriely Factor has been getting away with the same thing for a decade now under same idea. They use tactics like "Some people say" (which fox says) Obama is a Muslim. This is no different other than it is actually believable.

Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet. The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.

A person you (impersonal, not targeted to you) like files a lawsuit for libel: he did the right thing! He's been unjustly targeted! Proof of innocence. A person you (same as above) don't like files a lawsuit for libel: that b*tard, trying to suppress freedom of information and hide its skeletons! Proof of guilt. So, no,

Not being journalist they are also basically free of any responsibility: free viral diffamation against anyone! EDIT: Besides: in Italy BuzzFeed is one of the main propagators of racist fake news and populist posts. That's because here it's that kind of posts that gets more clicks nowadays.
