Possible/Probable repost, (i searched for ViewSonic but no results returned) Anyway, MSDN are giving away a free ViewSonic PocketPC with select copies of VS.NET and MSDN. Clickety[^] Are these any good? I've never heared of them, i've been happy with my iPaq and so have no need for a new PPC. Also, i've just noticed that MS arn't doing the $30 upgrade to VS.NET 2003 for VS.NET 2003 academic users. You don't know how MAD this makes me.

We are looking into this to check that those who purchase VS.NET 2003 from CodeProject will also be eligible. Stay tuned... cheers, Chris Maunder

Eligible for.... If you meant the PocketPC, then any valid MSDN/VS.NET serial number is valid. According to that site. If you meant the academic versions, then that would be very cool for me. Its ok for you guys, but students arn't able to upgrade every year for hundreds of pounds (as most cash is spent drinking), £60 is a small price to pay for the tools you get, not £500. If you start, a) shipping to Europe, which you are working on apparently, and b) Ship VS.NET Academic, I WILL (yes you can quote me on that) buy it from CP, but even the amazing prices they are on here for, I simply cannot afford to buy software at that price without earning significat cash from it :-)
