I don't think it would hurt to add it as a tip; just make sure that you cite the source.

Was hunting around to figure out how to do a few things in 2017 that were fairly simple in previous versions. Turns out that the registry settings are handled differently now. Whilst searching for some insight on the old googley I came across this very useful posting: Updating registry settings for Visual Studio 2017[^] Would have added it as a tip... only it's not my tip! :-)

Can anyone tell me how VS 2017 compares to VS 2015 as far as memory usage? I really like 2015, but am currently working mainly on a workstation with only 4GB memory and 2015 is a real memory hog, and painfully slow. (compared to 2010 at least) I tried goggle, but all they talk about is load time improvements. Thanks! :)

I find VS2017 to be much faster and much lighter on memory than VS2015 (heck, even Eclipse is often faster and lighter on memory than VS2015).

What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question? The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism. Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

You spelled it wrong; it's "au", not "our".

One day, you're going to actually give someone a compliment instead of always trying to point out fake flaws to feel better. ;P

Thanks for this. I had hoped to find a way to stop formatting on CSHTML files buried in these settings but alas it's not possible.
