I know what you mean - it's rare for a cover to be better. Patti Smith did it (IMHO) with Smells Like Teen Spirit[^], and I prefer the Jimmy Scott version of Nothing Compares 2 U[^] but it's damn rare, and you need a good voice to carry it. Mind you, I like Ciara's version of Paint It, Black[^] so what do I know? :laugh:

Best Smells Like Teen Spirit cover ever[^] :D Patti Smith isn't bad either, but everything sounds good compared to the original :D I've always liked Inkubus Sukkubus - Paint It Black[^], but I have to admit this cover came before the original for me :-O This has got to be (one of) the best cover(s) ever[^]. The original does not even come close :omg: I think many people don't even realize it's a cover.

I've seen Fatboy Slim live a couple of weeks ago. This is one of those rare covers that's not worse than the original :thumbsup: :D

Sudden Sun Death Syndrome (SSDS) is a very real concern which we should be raising awareness of. 156 billion suns die every year before they're just 1 billion years old. And the cover isn't metal, so that's not a problem :) I know the cover got a lot of praise and many people prefer it over the original. I'm not a fan of the voice of Disturbed's singer (or of Disturbed as a whole). And I am a metalhead :laugh: Well, used to be I guess... So I'll take the original over the cover :)
