      I've seen many of you mention a software for recovering a windows machines. I had a total disk failure, and lost everything. What was that software called, please???

        There are different tools which work with different modes. Try to dont write anything but read. Best is too try some tools, if they dont work you better remove the drive and connect to another PC. There are some professional company specialized but pricy. As you see: a backup is also a good idea.:thumbsup:

            Thanks, I found the software. I just don't want it to happen again, since it has taken 6 hours to re-install the various softwares on my new machine. Still a little upset over losing the passport that had my image though.
