Hi All, Question for the hive mind...a meeting for the project I am involved with is on, I think. Walking across the car park I saw most of the people in it. I haven't been able to find an email invite or Hipchat mention I have the felling that it might be above my pay grade. So I won't barge in late... thoughts please... Yup, above my pay grade, I have been invited to the progress meeting next week. :)
Any meeting you weren't invited to is time for you to get stuff done. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Arrange for a really, really big cake to be delivered. Hide inside it and pop out when it's wheeled into the meeting room. That's sure to make an impression.

Don't barge in. It could be a meeting about something completely different that only happens to involve the same people as your project. Like others said, you weren't invited, respect that and use the time to get some real work done.
I live in Oregon, and I'm an engineer.

Anytime I find out there is a meeting that I could have been invited to but wasn't, I thank my lucky stars! :-D

I wasn't complaining, I was just worried that I may get 'volunteered' to do something horrible like last time (I'm still battling with Ardriuno...)

Oh...that alright then!

Last time it was 'Glenn, you know Adruino's dont you?', 'Ah well, yes', 'Oh good do a unit for us that will Ping the units Ethernet ports when the board comes in to verify the connections, now Tim...', no chance for me to say 'but that wont do what you think' or 'Ping does not verify all connections' and most of Ardruino is a type of microcontroller board not a magic wand to solve all your test issues...
