Auto-correction? I took note of it as a new term to describe a VPN, nodding "OK, so that's what they call it in his environment. Maybe it is as descriptive as any other term...". As computer guys, we should be familiar with every new paradigm bringing in new terms for old concepts; it happens all the time. If you have ever been developing software in a 'workspace' model, such as Smalltalk or APL, where you add and remove actors and functions and data structures like in a virtual world (such as Second Life), the term 'enlivenment' certainly isn't far fetched. Expanding the workspace from a single application one to a VPN is an obvious extension, and the term still fits. It still could be an auto-correction, though. But a good one.
