It's a pretty boring and tbh quite pathetic response to an attitude you don't like to just say "You don't understand". You think (you've said) that as I'm not American I can't understand American culture and the gun argument - so how do you explain all those born and bred Americans who also don't like it? It's quite possible for people who disagree with you to have just as good an understanding of the issues as you do, you know.

I was out in Coloma on route 49 having a coffee and chatting to the girl who worked there. She was about 20, and lived not far, but further up in the hills with her mum. They had a couple of bears that were killing their chickens and generally being a pain so they shot them, butchered them and put them in the freezer. How do you defend yourself with elastic bands? The US isnt like much of Europe, so really you don't know what you are talking about.
