You see, when I write articles for a magazine, people somehow associate my name to the magazine. The same thing happens with online articles: people will associate your name and your work to the containing web site. Taking an extreme example, I would not like any of my articles showing on a porn site. If you only want to be informative on your homepage, you could link the articles with the first paragraph. And yes, I often search for my articles on Google. My SQL Server do's and dont's article is often copied by other sites, and I don't agree with it. Thanks, Chris, for making it clear to everyone. But my question has gone unanswered: Is it OK for me to save the articles (and source, of course) to my hard disk? I was NOT going to upload them to any site anyway. I won't be distributing the stuff in any other way either- I'll be having them strictly for personal use.
