Email Address Regular Expression That 99.99% Works.[^] I found it interesting, looking through the examples, that the Perl/Ruby example is substantially longer than the other examples. And then there is a Ruby (Simple Version) which is almost the shortest one on there. I vote we get rid of all languages except for .Net. Let's simplify things. :-D

Everyone is born right handed. Only the strongest overcome it. Fight for left-handed rights and hand equality.

I once took a class and learned how to speak in smoke signs. I thought I aced the class but when it came time for a final project, let's just say that there are some tribes that no longer speak to each other now. :-O

          Except .NET isn't a language. ;P

It would be rather cool if there were one regex engine to rule them all, though. Just think of all the happy hours we could all spend arguing about which one to go with!

You mean "C# on .NET" of course! There is nothing it can't do! Bill Gates told me that personally. I vote for that - especially since I get paid big bucks to use it.
