I'm talking about the dog! My daughter wanted/got an akai Miki ii mini midi input device for Christmas, so I ended up sitting with her trying to up date the firmware as it just was having none of it. God their software is crap. Anyway, the daughter had setup shop on the floor, as they do, so we were sat there and the dog had decided it wanted in on the action and proceeded to barge in and stand with front paws on the laptop keyboard. It was like slow motion! She wandered in, paws connected, the screen displayed a whole bunch of artifacts, then went completely haywire, followed by a BSOD, but only a poor rendition of the sad face part on the top left. Forced reboot, and I had visions of the laptop being dead, the motherboard being shorted out by the weight of a dog. Fortunately it appears to have survived. Yes both the laptop and the dog! Merry Christmas!

Had a similar situation: sitting on the floor with the laptop, the newfie decided he wanted my attention and flopped down on the laptop. Snapped the screen right off.
