It's probably not so much support for muslims as a protest against the white-supremacist roots of the massacre. Just my take.

(probably to keep their customer base happy) Technically one can call themselves a Maori if they have a eighth or sixteenth blood in them and hence can appear more Caucasian then of pacific origins. I'm not even sure if their are any purebreds left now. Nowadays the haka is an overused dance of respect based on a traditional Maori war dance. It is only used as such now.
