VB.NET, or VB6? The first is easy to translate to C#, can even be done by a machine. If it is VB6, it should simply be burned, without any questions.

I remember my first VB project. Until that point I hadn't even looked at VB, in school I went from Pascal to C++, then Java, and stuck with C based languages. Politely pointed out that I might not be the best choice from the pool of developers as I did not have VB on my resume, didn't know VB, had never worked in it, and didn't understand it. My PHB replied that since I knew C# and Java so VB should be easy by comparison. He then went on to assign a project deadline based on his reading of chicken bones. :sigh:

Indeed. I've seen children as old as 7 continue playing with VB, like they're an infant! I told the kid to grow up and use F# or something.
