Why the Left Sucks as much as the Right

Progressives throw their support to to arab culture (in particular, vs. Israel and US). Yet - why is the results of this BBC Poll not surprising in the least?[^] Ahh - if only I could grab the lot of you on the Right and the other lot on the Left, putting you all in an area to fight to the death - and then immediatly shooting the winner. Surely, those of us left would sleep better at night.

I am very impressed by your elaborate arguments :) The man is right, again; left and right are dominated by extremists who are paid to help their side win. There's little interest in "what is good and healthy" for the population as a whole. There's even no interest in their own credibility.

The U.S. is focusing on removing a very evil regime from the face of the earth - Iran. Now, whether or not we remove them from existence, remains to be seen. The United States has plenty of interest in what is "good and healthy". Problem is that the Left and the Right cannot agree as to the implementation for said "good and healthy". We subsidize our farmers the best we can, but again, that is $$$$, and no one likes to spend $$$$ on bad crops - no return on investment. It sucks, but that is life.

Priorities. At the moment, the top priority is the army, not the food. You don't invest in bad crops, that's why the Dutch will happily sell you some good crops - regardless of our weather, since we grow a lot in greenhouses.
