Just look at the world around you. If you're not living in a dictatorship. you're probably living in a democracy where the electorate is over-subscribed by left-wing wimps who want to love everybody, millennials who don't want to work, snowflakes who are too precious for words, gender-fluid people who think gender is a non-biological choice, and green warriors who are going to take away your 'planes, cars, meat and eventually, everything that wasn't around in the stone age and before man learnt to light a fire. The world is going soft, and it needs our colossal intellect to sort it out. Without the soapbox, how can we, the intelligentsia, the cognoscenti, perhaps even the illuminati, guide our fellow man in the ways of righteousness? Who will tell the men to grow a pair, and the women to be grateful? Who will show them how to beat ploughshares into swords? No one, that's who, no one, without the soapbox. No, I fear we will not be able to stop the inevitable war, where mankind finally exterminates itself - just because of the lack of a soapbox. I despair.

You should probably just hide under your bed and avoid all those icky people who don't think exactly like you do, snowflake.

Do I perceive a sense of humour failure? I do believe I do! :-\

Seems unlikely. Get back under your bed and cower. There's a liberal out there who doesn't agree with you!

It'll be worse by then, and Trump will still be president for life. That's how dictatorships work.

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
