Most people know a load of cows is a "Herd", a load of Lions is a "Pride" but how many people know the correct collective (or group) nouns for politicians? My suggestions are: - A Turgid Moreass of.. (mis-spelling of morass is deliberate). - A Lie of.. - A Criminal Bunch of.. - A ^%%*&^%$ %$#^#$& ***&** of.. Sorry, got carried away there. Most collective nouns are single words such as in: a Murder of Crows, a Pack of Wolves, a Swarm of Bees, a Flock of Geese, etc. So what we need is a good, appropriate, single word to be used as a collective noun for politicians: Note: Please, no political messages or trolling - we still have a soapbox for that.

    - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

A Fraud of Politicians. This site: Collective nouns for people | Collective group names for people[^] suggests "Lie, Equivocation, or Odium", but it also suggests "Archive, or Bloat (Microsoft)" of programmers so it's not that reliable.* * Everybody knows it's an Array, or a Code Review

Since some of ours like to trot out Latin phrases to make themselves sound more cleverer, might I suggest a campana fin of politicians? :-D

How about 'an incarceration of politicians' as it does, at least, indicate the preferred state thereof.

And here I thought it came from poly, the Greek prefix for "many", and tics, small bloodsucking animals. :)

"Lie" is most appropriate, not compound terms.

"I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is called a disgrace, that two are called a law firm, and that three or more become a Congress! And by God, I have had this Congress! For ten years, King George and his Parliament have gulled, cullied, and diddled these colonies with their illegal taxes! Stamp Acts, Townshend Acts, Sugar Acts, Tea Acts! …" John Adams from the show 1776. Dialogue taken from historical documents, with some license. I love the phrase, "gulled, cullied, and diddled".

:) !!!!!! One of the albums I have on my phone includes a song by Joan Jett ("Wonderin'") which I'm sure also borrows from John Adams. It's very similar to "Is anybody there?" I haven't yet gotten around to ripping the soundtrack album to mp3.

Are they off on a golfing junket again?
