Lots of people have favourite movies that were big hits, but what about those that you thought were really, really good - but bombed at the box office for some weird reason. Even if the film didn't do so well, perhaps it has a great line in it? One of mine is "Tremors" from 1990. The best line is, "...but I want to live for the three days"!

    - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Curry plays that role fantastically, like the transvestite in Rocky. Full of dark sexual menace, he is an expert at it! :)

A long time ago my wife and I watched an indie film about a guy who got trapped in a neighborhood house for 4 to 5 days, lived on what he could find in the fridge etc. The last scene of the flick was him sitting with his buds telling the story and the last line was: "You know the worst part? There was no beer." At that point I had realized we had seen something and that it had our attention the whole time. For the life of me I don't remember what it was called. +1 for Tremors. "They're under the gall dang ground!" :-D

Yeah we're in Fredonia right now and its 80s so yeah we hit it right, at least here. We were going to Yellowstone in a couple of weeks but temps there are getting cold so I think we will try going this week, temps are supposed to rise for several days. Haven't drove in the snow for many years and never pulling a camper.

Does Fight Club qualify? It's IMHO a masterpiece, among the best movies ever made, but AFAIR wasn't exactly successful.
