Parsing Techniques - A Practical Guide | Dick Grune | Springer[^]

And what leads you to describe it as "the perfect book on parsing"? I mean you don't have it, so you don't know it in details and same would be for the other books.... so why that one is the 'perfect' one?
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Only $219 $179 + shipping :(( My hubby will object. *sigh* Time for me to bat my eyelashes, but I won't beg.

It is 130 at Amazon or 34 used : Parsing Techniques A Practical Guide[^]
"They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers! Can I get an amen?"
I didn't see any used for that price. I'll look again, thanks. I think it sent me to amazon.ca, maybe that's why

I looked again and the second entry at Amazon is the hardcover version, used and it is the one at $34. It is rather funny that Grune's name is misspelled on the cover of it.

Yeah thanks, i found it for $80 used

I think that's the first edition. Cheapest i found the 2nd edition for was about $79 and change

If batting eyelashes doesn't work (hard to imagine)... :) The first edition is available for download on the (seemingly legit) author site: PTAPG_1st_Edition[^]
oh wow. I'll look into that thank you! Edit: No book there, just a link to the 2nd edition (to buy) and a note that the 1st edition is out of print. Oh well. I ended up finding it for about $80, that's a bit more reasonable than what i was looking at having to pay.

A PDF version of it can be found here : Parsing Techniques: A Practical Guide - Free Computer, Programming, Mathematics, Technical Books, Lecture Notes and Tutorials[^] -edit- it seems the PDF version is inaccessible from that page.

Fooled me the first time also: the top Title/link is for the pdf :) Seems like I need new four eyes, the link is only to an image. Hmm, the link seems to be PTAPG_1st_Edition[^] Found in freecomputerbooks.com website. It's still to the authors site, but don't know what to make of it...
