I looked again and the second entry at Amazon is the hardcover version, used and it is the one at $34. It is rather funny that Grune's name is misspelled on the cover of it.

I think that's the first edition. Cheapest i found the 2nd edition for was about $79 and change

oh wow. I'll look into that thank you! Edit: No book there, just a link to the 2nd edition (to buy) and a note that the 1st edition is out of print. Oh well. I ended up finding it for about $80, that's a bit more reasonable than what i was looking at having to pay.

Fooled me the first time also: the top Title/link is for the pdf :) Seems like I need new four eyes, the link is only to an image. Hmm, the link seems to be PTAPG_1st_Edition[^] Found in freecomputerbooks.com website. It's still to the authors site, but don't know what to make of it...

OK - so I've analyzed the situation.

Essentially, you've actually parsed many books to find one that you feel is perfect.
Needing the book naturally implies your parsing itself may not be perfect*
However, since your parsing itself is imperfect you cannot be sure if this is the perfect book.
Buying the book, however, will teach you if you parsed perfectly to find it!
Unless, of course, you parsed imperfectly to ascertain its perfection, in which case it would
only be perfect by mere happenstance.
In which case, then, if it is not perfect you're back on the road, again.

Somehow, "Rinse and Repeat" seems the most appropriate closing at this point. * We leap to the conclusion that you really meant the contents of the book are perfect.

Jacobs Springer 674 pages 2,670,949 bytes 2/1/2008 1:00pm Apparently this was..."added to my collection"...over 12 years ago.
