LOL! I bumpeed up against the 10,000 character limit they have on the linuxnewbie.org forums. LOL! Some dimwit posted a bunch of outright lies about Windows, and as much as I hated to do it, I had to come to Windows' defense. Man, we really need a way to get together all the clueless Linux zealots with the clueless Windows zealots and the clueless Mac zealots. I'll run it, and make it pay-per-view. :-D Then the rest of us can have reasonable discourse. "When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. that's imho not important here - the point is that Windows has no decent filesystem (at least compared to recent GNU/Linux filesystems). Hmm, NTFS is a journaling filesystem and has been around for years. It was probably shifting blocks when Linux defaulted to ufs. Looks like you might have found some zealots there mate. You will probably get more reasoned arguments trolling alt.paranormal. I prefer my Junior UNIX© FreeBSD flavoured. Its dumb as a sackful of hammers but it does simple jobs reliably. Ryan.

From justlinux.com: PS. I find it fairly amusing that Windows users complain that a browser is included with Windows, but not a single person complains that most Linux distros ship with as many as THREE browsers. I know, it's a bit different, but it still amuses me nonetheless. That's true! Funny thought also. That's one my peeves with Linux (esp. SuSE), it comes with a bunch of stuff I don't want. I don't like discussions like that because it always takes place in forums where only techies hang, and the need of techies are not the need of my mom or dad. There are still no arguments for to install linux flavor unix (or bsd flavor) on my parent's computer and have them learn something completly new. I like you answers John.

Who wants Outlook Express? I would never dare to open it, and AFAIK you cant de-install it. But especially SuSE gives you full control (up until and beyond the point of being tiring) over what paket you want to install.
