Seeing as VB is the last refuge of techo idiots, that's probably a good thing. We do have a VB forum, and places for VB.NET articles, but apparently, VB programmers are too stupid to find them, so they stay empty. Which is good, it leaves this site for actual *programmers*, as opposed to VB monkeys. Well, if you're an excellent VB coder, and know when to keep your mouth shut, you might be accepted here. ;P [edit] Of course there's no objection against a good VB.NET article, except some religous Flak from one side, and hearthy disinterest from the other. Such is life.[/edit]

errrrr this site is all asp which i believe is based largely upon vb so i think saying chris doesnt know vb is like saying the pope doesnt know the lords prayer In his state, the popes not Chris, I would not bet on him knowing the lords prayer anymore. Respect to the man, but he took the last bus to Florida a long time ago.

I don't think that Chris "lacks knowledge in VB", rather he wants keep the site focused on C++/C#. If you have a VB article there are plenty of other worthy places to post it. P.S. - In case you haven't noticed, VB is looked down upon here as a toy language.

Have you tried submitting a VB article? I'm sure CP will accept any well written article on software development subjects. Heck, even Java is welcomed. After all, these people think C++ makes sense - consider the source. Ignore them, and have fun with VB if that's your preference. Quality code can be written in any language, even COBOL if that's what the problem set requires for a solution. Code away and contribute to the article collection, and let the elitist bunch go their own way.
