Send us some pics James! Tons of my friends had beetles. My best friend is up in Brisbane with a '73 (?) Kombi pop-top with a surfboard strapped on top, a mountain bike on the back, and all his worldly posessions (including a Mac G4) inside. He's my role model for the perfect life. cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)
...and all his worldly posessions (including a Mac G4) inside. He's my role model for the perfect life. minus the G4 Mac, right? ;P lol I can just imagine Chris Maunder, gadget-web-programming-boff, posting the surf conditions off of the east coast of down under from his iJoraq linked via satelite (or kangaroo, whichever is fastest). Kombi (South African word that!) parked behind and a good braai (sorry, barbey) on the beach. Hey, reminds me of a couple of beach bumbs that hang around our beaches... hehe regards, Paul Watson Cape Town, South Africa e: paulmwatson@email.com w: vergen.org

Surely a true masochist would take the train ;)
The bus is for the short trips, I take the train for longer journeys even though with the current state of the rail network sometimes the train companies have to provide a bus :-) Michael :-)

Or better yet - up in the hills with my board and a coldie. cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

I ride a bus. I'm a masochist and prefer public transport. Michael :-)
mas·och·ism (ms-kzm) n.
- The deriving of sexual gratification, or the tendency to derive sexual gratification, from being physically or emotionally abused.
- The deriving of pleasure, or the tendency to derive pleasure, from being humiliated or mistreated, either by another or by oneself.
- A willingness or tendency to subject oneself to unpleasant or trying experiences.
So I take it number three is your posion? Unless of course your the "I ride the bus, in my trench coat, just a trench coat, I love the feel of vinyl on my bare as..." type... Actually if I lived in London I would take the tube or bus myself. Pretty pointless trying to go to work in a car there. I would however miss the freedom of being able to A: drive on the road or B: run down helpless pedestrians in side walk cafes. ;P regards, Paul Watson Cape Town, South Africa e: paulmwatson@email.com w: vergen.org

Number three for sure. I leave my other dodgy practices for the privacy of my own home. (Yes, I admit it - I use Visual Basic sometimes) Michael :-)

Company car Audi A3 1.9 TDI. Runs just fine, except for the "concrete suspension". :suss: The car (not me) retires in december, after which I hope to buy an "overclocked" Alfa R 155 2.0 Bi-Turbo with over 250 HP. 0-100 Km/h in under 5 seconds. -------------------------------------------------- If my messages appear curt, I apologize. I try to be brief to save your time as well as mine. --------------------------------------------------

Stan Gun rack eh, I heard of road rage but don't you think its taking it a little too far ;)
No gun, just the rack. Sometimes I put my son's bb gun up there just for affect. When I'm feeling really froggy I put my Confederate battle flag plate on my front bumper. Just doing my part to reduce the life expectancy of liberals by keeping their blodd pressure high ;)
