Just sold my '97 BMW M3 because of costs and bought a wonderful '99 MG-F 1.8 Roadster. Not quite the power of the M3 but affordable :)

Company car Audi A3 1.9 TDI. Runs just fine, except for the "concrete suspension". :suss: The car (not me) retires in december, after which I hope to buy an "overclocked" Alfa R 155 2.0 Bi-Turbo with over 250 HP. 0-100 Km/h in under 5 seconds. -------------------------------------------------- If my messages appear curt, I apologize. I try to be brief to save your time as well as mine. --------------------------------------------------

MG Roadster got a real slating in the UK. We have a program called Top Gear and most of the owners weren't pleased with the shoddy workmanship. I thought VW were a sign of class, but no, I've had a few problems buying my car from new. Lexus now seem to hold the marque of distintion, even over Mercs and BM's, well they do in this country.

Here are some advantatges in having a Motorbike: - you don't need to open the window when raining (they already haven't) so you can smoke as much as you want (providing that you have an integral helmet of course and always if you manage to keep the cigarrete dry) - Doors don't freeze in winter ! (the driver maybe...) - But finally: you need less than 1 meter start-up to overtake anything (always talking about a good bike of course!!)

An Audi A4? Why not do it properly and get an Audi S8? Excellence without Excess. Yeah baby! Or for a runabout I'd love to grab an Audi TT convertible or for a weekend in the mountains, a Mitsubishi Pajero Evo. Back on Planet Earth it's a '93 Ford Telstar TX5 SE, V6. Fits 2 mountain bikes, 2 snowboards, and a couple of guys with no self preservation skills. Alternatively, on a good day it's a Merida extreme 907, or on a bad day, my Merida Pro SX. cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Currently, I have a 1997 Ford Escort. That's all I could afford, being a starving college student at the time. I would love to replace it with a Chrysler 300M, but the student loans and mortgage payments have been taking a bit of a priority in my life, lately :-) On the other hand, a Mercedes-Benz E320 would be nice... Or I could really go for broke, and buy an S500! Okay, now that I'm done dreaming, reality has just hit me with a "clue-by-four"... ;-) -- Paul "I drank... WHAT?"
