I am being recruited by a guy from psi-staffing.net. I tried to look at the company's website to see if it is legit, or just a scam. Have any of you had any dealings with this company? If so, what is your opinion?

I get emails from recruiters 2-3 times per week, rarely from the same outfit, and only 25% of them are in any way relevant to my skillset and experience. I've even had them try to recruit me for a receptionist position. Sorry, but I can't develop software and answer the phones at the same time.

I think the website is https://www.personnelstaffing.com/[^] looks semi legit. But all recruiters are barely legit. If you get an actual interview with a real person then you can know it is legit and they should never be charging you any money EVER!

It's a scam. I now hate recruiters more than politicians and lawyers, and that's saying something X|

Most Managers and Project Managers think developers can be interrupted by phones / Teams msgs / unplanned meetings / etc at zero notice and still do a full day's development work. At least, with working from home, you can try to carry on developing the difficult part of that complex algorithm that has taken hours of concentrated thought whilst pretending to be listening in on the external babble.

That's very true. But it's one thing to shift focus from one project/code base to another project/code base, and shifting to "How may I direct your call?"
