I ended up with python (the language I ended up doing the most in before I retired). My result (after a few "WTE - I don't know these people - no answer I understand") was

Java - "You know the solution to everyone's problem but your own". Maybe there is some truth to that. Noone reports C#. My guess is that C# doesn't appear in the list of answers; Java is the closest you will get. I sure would like to see the logic used to determine the result. It would probably reveal a lot about the personal preferences of the developer of the "test". It is of course meant as a joke, but revealing the developers prejudices would give it some "serious" value, telling how other people make their judgements. As others have remarked: For half of the questions, my real reply is like "None of the above".

Java!?! Because I drink it, doesn't mean I have ever written a line of it. Frankly, the list of possible answers were lacking.

Ditto. They seriously picked the language I detest most :D Also, what PC brand I use? I think most of us don't have a brand on their machine and opt for more power.

I got Python then took it again with a couple of changes and got Perl. Both descriptions seemed fitting. Favourite colour is one thing, but does anyone actually have a favourite punctuation character!!!

I am C guy. But the survey said I was Java (which I have never used). I guess C sort of looks like Java. Stupid survey.

Visual Basic, which is actually my preferred language for it's syntactic clarity.

Result: Perl Your best days may be behind you, but you you've still got it. Once you make a friend they are friends for life. You are unpredictable, but those who know you best are used to it. (language I do not even touched, ever) A true garbage this one... The difference between Perl and C++ is choosing + over . on the 'What is your favorite non-alphanumeric character?' question... (which is one of many totally stupid questions)
