Has anyone here personally read either of these works ? I welcome opinions on them. I'm trying to learn how George Boole was thinking about these things when he wrote the stuff from scratch --- First one is Three Hundred And Forty Four pages... An Investigation of the Laws of Thought by George Boole --- Second one is One Hundred And One pages The Mathematical Analysis of Logic by George Boole

I bet there was quite a conundrum when the C++ committee decided to add a type named after him and then they had to decide to spell his name wrong. I guess that extra 'e' was just not concise enough.
