I wondered about those when Herself was on steroids and at risk of developing diabetes - we went for finger pricks in the end, with me as a control since we eat almost the same foods we could more easily tell if she was genuinely developing a problem. How do they attach? Do they stick on, or are they basically just a large drawing pin / thumbtack? :-D

they attach with sticky adhesive. Inserts a piece of filament into and under the skin. Painless, really. I rarely prick my finger now for testing.

Subdermal sensor and stuck on... it lasts for 2 weeks, then you need to replace with a new one. NFR to read.

Wow, I hope to avoid that step. My wife has me on a strict diet plan due to loss of gallblader at the same time. Food will be a bit bland for the next month or two...

The manual reader they gave me is bluetooth. The cost for the FSL2 is rich, so I will go back to manual once the 14 days are up.

My eldest son has been wearing one for a couple of years. If only some of these items had been around 45 years ago when he was first diagnosed.

GCMs are pretty cool. I'd wear one if I could get a prescription for it. They also have continuous monitors for your ketones too. But, they're cool in the fact they really help you learn your body.

The user has to allow it from the settings. The widget you need is "Email" My messages have it, his don't. (offtopic: I sent you one on the other thread after you said that for the name, but I got an automatic message that your email server rejected it)

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? That's awesome to hear. Ain't gonna lie, I totally want one too, but I can't get a prescription for it since I'm not diabetic. It's totally cool to see blood sugar in real time though, to learn your body with.

Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

Thanks man. Except I don't see the link for you either. Guess this means I'm getting old.

Go figure, it's just a gmail address associated with my CP account. Guess Google is controlling what we see in more ways than one.

Mmmm... now that you tell it, I recall a conversation in the B&S Forum about it, it might have been deactivated, and I can still see it due to the Protector Badge.

Or even when I can see, if it was deactivated by CP, then it is not possible to contact privatelly anymore. Because if I recall it correctly, the message didn't come from Google.
