      You can try also this one. The engine (MIT) itself build in C#, you can use .NET 6 and soon .NET 8. Stride Game Engine - Free, Open Source C# 2D and 3D Game Engine - Stride Game Engine[^] GitHub - stride3d/stride: Stride Game Engine (formerly Xenko)[^] I will be writing some posts about this engine, but if anyone is interested, you can start playing from the console app. Capsule with rigid body | Stride Manual[^]

          Stride is nice... I've tried it, but it doesn't work properly with my VR headset. In fact despite it's claims, the only one I've seen it play with correctly is the oculus, it seems to have mega problems with Windows Mixed Reality.

              Oh Stride... it had a promising start, being an off shoot of abandoned but well developed project, but development is going at a sub glacial pace... :(
