BBC Sorry but those arent some dipsh$ts. That is terrorism. Come on, no way could any pilot (no matter how dim) fly into an already burning, smoke enshrouded building. Also consider that the timing of the crashes means that most people are at work (8:48am). Then consider the nature of the building. World Trade Center. Not exactly the center of love in the world from many peoples point of view. The radio is just on an american reporter saying that the two planes may have been hijacked. (note this is pure hearsay at the moment, nothing definite) What's next? regards, Paul Watson Cape Town, South Africa e: paulmwatson@email.com w: vergen.org

One of the planes was an american airlines flight from boston to LA. Possibly a 737. Terrible... Nothing good can come of this... Josh josh@that-guy.net

Even BBC seems quite slow now. Sky News is quite up to date and still responding... http://www.sky.com/skynews/storytemplate/storytoppic/0,,30000-1029102,00.html I wonder whether the US will retaliate when they find out what country/organisation is behind this atrocity?

Shit. I'm at home and just seen the news report. It should the second plane crashing into the building. I thought I'd seen some shocking things in my time but I'm still shaking. It's like something out of a Tom Clancy novel. The news reports two planes hijacked in Boston with an unconfirmed rumour about a third. I think the world just became an even more dangerous place to live. Michael

I don't think this will be war in the traditional sense. Whoever is found responsible is going to be wiped out. There won't be any war, unless you live in the Middle East. The full might and fury of the American people is about to be unleashed against any and all possible terrorist sponsers. At the moment there are a lot of scared people in the States and scared people do silly things. An attack on the World Trade centre is one thing, but attack on Washington well that is just asking for trouble. I think I'm off to start praying, Michael :-)
