I think the lack of emails when a reply gets posted doesn't help - I'm so used to getting several hundred emails a day from CP that I'm out of the habit of checking in here ...
@OriginalGriff Click on your profile picture (top-right on desktop), click "Settings", and look at the notification settings. There's quite a few things you can tweak if you want to get flooded with emails again. 😊

You are right, it's not really the same atmosphere as the old version. One thing I miss is the expressiveness we had with the emoticons and special icons. (:elephant: || :beer:) It's been so long I've forgotten how to use them!
Ah! I've just found the composer which has quite a bit of functionality, but I can't get the emoticons to work.
We lot a lot of the regulars in the migration. Anyone heard from Jeremy?
That said, there are things about the new place that I like. My visiting patterns have definitely changed since the Great Blackout. I've gotten used to only checking in just a few times a day.

New site is good, change takes time to adjust. I have never, ever been accused of trying to solve the CCC. The weirdo's doing them are scary to those of us in the slow group. :) (the old way)

Change is hard, I don't like change. You probably don't know me because I'm a lurker, rather I used to be under the previous reputation model for our community. I'm the annoying one who sell ads that you love to click on. That said, I've worked for and with the CodeProject for nearly two decades. New management could not possibly care more than they do on making CodeProject better. Like me with figuring out Wheel of Fortune clues, it's a process. And with time and your love and support, it will be the same home you knew and loved. If not, tell us.

Maybe it's me but I never get any responses from my CCC posts apart from today dear old @Nagy-Vilmos posted - this place is pretty quiet all round
