After that I just ring a number to take me to Ireland, talk to a person in India, fax my registration card and invoice because they don't have the subscription number on the database, email a nice person in Ireland a couple of times and finally I'm renewed for 12 months:mad: Pass the tranquilizers John Hudson Its all right - I'll tell the therapist it was all your fault, maybe they won't turn the voltage up so high on the ECT machine this time:omg: http://www.rainbow-innov.co.uk[^]

Programs being sneakily installed on your computer. Anybody know of a way to stop this? I really don't have a use for those 'pay-for-porn' programs. Usually for Flash which I will NEVER install in Mozilla. I HATE flash, it has got to be the most abused net technology since the first animated gif graced a web page. However, now and then there is something that it's good for. It was obnoxious Flash ads (with sound! that would scream across the page you're trying to read! sheesh!) as much as popups that made me switch to Mozilla for good.

Yeah, but my IE6 at home I believe has the 'install 3rd party' option unchecked, but that only stops the www.whazit.com's from being installed. I used to have google bar on there, but google bar (beta) wouldn't come up again after reboots, so I found it useless to me. Now I have a pop-up blocker background app installed. It may have stopped those annoying 3rd party installations, but I don't think so. I would love to be able to get around this. I use Win2kPro also (my favorite OS). I run Kazaa Lite most of the time, that may be related. I don't know, it's so hard to find the root of the problem when it comes to pop-ups for me. <--Signature begins here--> I am... I'm also a Mozilla convert. I've not seen a popup since I installed it. Talk about sweet surfing. I also love how it's an MDI application. As for Flash, you should check this trick out. It's a script that you can use to disable Flash on a page. I've also modified it to disable iframes as some sites are putting Flash ads in a separate page in the iframe. --- "This isn't right. That thing was harder to remove than a virus. I highly recommend getting Ad-Aware (I don't have a URL handy, do a search). It scans your HD for spyware and the like (even commercial cookies) and eliminates them. Although, it may disable Kazaa as a result (Kazaa can detect if you mess with its spyware). I recommend everyone who never has to run Ad-Aware; it can be a real eye opener.
