Yeah, Its always interesting to see folk who have only seen bullets fly on TV or at the films, when they see what real ones actually do. Their is such a massive difference in a hollywood cops weapon and a real weapon. Regardz Colin J Davies

Guaranteed pain! (after having been thrown like a mitten by the recoil). Personally I prefer 9mm pistols or .357 mag revolvers. .44 mag is fun too, but the monetary pain is greater than the pleasure near-orgasm you get when firing them. :(( -- Serial killers don't kill their boyfriends.

Roger, Have you thought about signing an endorsment contract for a CPU cooling system? I think even the copper ones I use would give up. We have only hit 108f this year and it is starting to cool off. :) "For as long as I can remember, I have had memories. Colin Mochrie."

I'm afraid my cooling system would be too costly for most of the market, liquid He being as expensive as it is these days.

I had many a black eye from the recoil on our FNC1. We used to use 7.62 in our rifles, then changed to NATO standard 5.56. I preferred the range (600m) and power of the 7.62, but we get more rounds/mag now and less range.

You've never fired a .44 mag revolver before huh? It's so good you need to smoke afterwards. :-D Seriously though, handguns are fun. Firstly, it's a fun sport. Secondly, when you're done practicing there are always some cans and what-not you can shoot at. It really brings your inner child to life. The sound, the gun smoke, the element of danger, the sight (fire a gun when it's dark and you'll know what I mean), are exhilarating. -- Serial killers don't kill their boyfriends.

I used to have a .243 cal Browning rifle - great long distance shooter - that put out a flame about 6 feet long at night. Incredible sight. People who shoot for the first time are usually amazed at how very hard it is to actually hit something with a pistol. A rifle is easier, but it's still a tremendous challenge to hold an accurate pattern. My skills have certainly been diminished by going too long without serious practice; Lauren hit more targets than I did, even at relatively close range. Time for me to get out there and practice!
