Hi there. This is not too technical. I had been thinking of writing my very own speech recognition engine. I had check our microsoft speech.net but it isn't working very well as i expect. I just want to write an accurate but simple speech editor (using my voice and it will recognize the keywords). I want to learn how to create as an interest. Example, i say go left my 2d object will go left. I say go right my 2d object will move to right rather than left Okay. The problem is what do i need in order to make a speech recognition. I am looking forward to use c# to write one. Does speech recognition uses neural networks or any AI elements? What are the things i need in order to write that? I will make huge research on google on that! Any help, please? Thanks. Regards, Chua Wen Ching :p

Don't be nasty. Even if he is a bit of a Uffar gwirion ;)
