Gone are the days of walking round and round in circles and lighting fires to attract attention. Not only are cellphones great for getting in touch with rescuers when lost, but the handy flash on your camera means the need to make fire by bashing two rocks together is also a thing of the past: Sky News[^]

As per the news, they used the camera to attract attention and not to make fire. You still need to: Megan Forbes wrote: bashing two rocks together to make fire :) Rakesh

Neat :) But it takes all the fun out of getting lost. :-D

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular. Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

Well, the fire would be to attract attention, as would the camera. That's what she's saying. ;)

What i meant was you won't be able to use the camera flash to create fire. (though u could use a couple of rocks for both fire and attention) Rakesh
