I have multiple files to copy to server at the same time The code basically displays a checkedBoxList with filenames and then the boxes checked need to be copied to server, so I dont think the dialog box could work, d u know of any other way that might help? Thanks Nisrine

Sorry misunderstood your question. Thought you wanted to know how to copy the files from Visual Studio. You want to do it programatically, that would be a programming question. You should ask that in one of the programming forums, since asking it here is likely to make the natives restless.

Isn't that a contradiction? I fear that maybe it is time that we acknowledge the VB family as a programming language so that these forums are kept free from these non programming language questions ;-) ----------------------- New and improved: kwakkelflap.com My second CP article: MAP files[^] "Hey, Benny, can I pour you a beer?" "A little early, isn't it, Jim?" "For a beer?" "No, for stupid questions."
