I was planning on creating an online family album with pics and video clips. Does any here know of any cheap(<=10$ per mnth) and efficient webhosting provider ? I would be satisfied with arnd 750mb space and 5gigs monthly transfer . Its fine if I don't get any backend database or asp, asp.net. There are so many providers I found while searching, that I am confused  which to choose now. Just victims of the in-house drive-by They say jump, you say how high

I'll throw in my usual pitch: http://www.webhost4life.com[^] (Referral link: http://www.webhost4life.com/default.asp?refid=jsagara[^]) Why do I feel so dirty when I do that? Every little bit helps...

Ranjeet Chakraborty wrote: Unlimited Bandwidth Be careful there. If you read their TOS, you'll see that it is "unmetered" bandwidth. That is, as long as your bandwidth consumption isn't detrimental to their network, they won't pay much attention to you. Oh, and another unusual thing is that they collect the whole year's hosting fee up front, but they will refund the balance if you decide to cancel before the year is up. You are NOT locked in for the entire year.

And, while I'm at it, I'll give you another tip. :) Go to http://www.webhostingtalk.com[^] and post your requirements in the appropriate forum (I think it's called "Shared Hosting Offers and Requests"). There are a lot of players in the game, so you could potentially get a lot of offers.
