I have this weird issue with the Report Document, on my machine (.NET 2003) I used the SetParameterValue and everything works fine. But we recently built another development machine, with .NET 2003 and this method does not exist for the Report Document on that machine. I've checked the Framework & IDE versions and they're the same. But the C# versions seem to differ? Don't know how or why as I'm sure we're using the same CD. My machine: Microsoft Visual C# .NET 69586-335-0000007-18084 New Dev machine: Microsoft Visual C# .NET 69586-335-0000007-18901 Line of code causing troubles: crReportDocument.SetParameterValue(ctr, discreteVal); If anyone has any ideas, thanks in advance. Cheers

Yes CR9 has been installed on the machine on which that method does not exist. I looked at the install notes for CR9 and it says to install CR( after the .NET installation, which we did.

Make sure that your build of Crystal Reports 9 is compatible with Visual Studio 2003. CR 9 was released prior to the release of VS 2003 and there were some serious compatibility issues. I contacted CrystalDecisions about the same propblem and they provided an undated CD with the VS 2003 compatibility build. The CD's looked identical so don't assume yours is up to date. The version number that appears in my Crystal Reports designer [About] menu reads: Product Version: 9.2.2.693
