    I'm not a Muslim, but Eid is a big thing in India too, even though the Muslim population here is relatively small (though not so small either ;) ). So Eid Greetings to you too, and everyone else - Muslim or non-Muslim. :) Regards, Rohit Sinha Browsy

        Like Christmas is to Christians, the three-day Eid el-Fitr holiday is associated with family gatherings over lavish meals and gifts for children, especially clothes. Most Arab leaders usually pardon hundreds of prisoners in goodwill gestures to mark the holiday. It's marked by the end of Ramadan, and authorities in various countries disagree about the exact date. For some, today was the beginning; for others, Tuesday begins the event.
