Colin, IMHO, when you're looking for beta testers among programmers, you should describe your product in 2-3 lines, like what it is supposed to do and how. Saying "Speed up your internet connection with VMTU" is not enough, it just looks like I plain web ad. ;)

I changed to normal viewing and went from 50 to 60 MB this week, so I could be on the way to ban city too. I thought it would go down. :( The ONLY other thing I did was d/l an Apple II GS emulator and some games ( like about a meg worth ) and a meg of Beavis & Butthead sounds for Worms World Party. Yeah, it was a big week. Christian As I learn the innermost secrets of the around me, they reward me in many ways to keep quiet. Men with pierced ears are better prepared for marriage. who tells you that you used 50-60 MB last week? is it your sys admin? if so does he actually know its all code project? I mean is he logging every site you go to? if so isnt that against US privacy laws?? cant you sue him? Nish

Problem 1: There are five of us, the sys admin can SEE I only use Code Project. Problem 2: I'm not in the US, so their privacy laws mean nothing to me. Problem 3: We don't make a profit, so there really is no-one to sue who is worth anything. Problem 4: We're not in the US ( see above ) and therefore don't tend towards frvilous lawsuits. Yes, they log every site we go to, why shouldn't they, I mean for starters surely every sys admin looks to make sure no-one is using their network to look at illegal or obviously high bandwidth/no return sites. If I get told to pull my head in, it will be because my usage is causing our free, high speed connection to be at risk. I can live with that. okay :-) cool for me its kinda funny we have a team called SEG [basically responsible for sysadmin duties] I am a member too :-) and I make a fuss when people waste bandwidth by downloading mp3 clips throughout the day so its kinda funny that I spend all my time downloading MS patches, and chatting at the CP lounge and stuff like that but its a lot better than downloading mp3 via imesh whats worse is there are nearly 15 people on a pitiable 64 kbps which also acts as our dns, mail and test-web-server kinda slow yet I try to get the best out of it Nish

I keep getting weird crashes under 2000 - everything's fine, then not fine anymore. So 15 years of UI development haven't really gotten us far. I must admit, it's very nostalgic to see the 'GURU' popping up evey now and then! What happened to your "space for rent" idea in the signature? ----------------------- The sermon on the mount... Just FYI, in the US you pretty much have no privacy when it comes to your employer's computers. It's their equipment and you're using their net connection. NO, I've not run an Amiga emulator for *ages*. I only got inspired to look for a IIGS emulator because I saw a IIGS for sale on ebay, and remembered when I first saw one and was glad 'we' had an Amiga killer. While I'm too lazy to fix my broken sig permanently, I have from time to time spotted it and typed in the first thing that came to mind as a replacement. Space for rent has only been posted once AFAIK. Christian I have plenty of talent & vision. I just don't care.
