My temperature. X| Some of you know how I am a major advocate (bordering, no crossing) the line of reason with "no TV in the house". Boy, do I wish I had a friggin' TV right now. I've read my kids books (Eragon and the Bartemeaus Trilogy, both part I as the other parts haven't been published--I hate authors that do that, except for Tolkein because by the time I read LOTR all the books were out), and now I'm reading Debugging Windows Applications For Microsoft .NET (or something like that), that Anders recommended. It's good. Light, to the point, and the stories have me rolling on the floor and gasping simultaneously. Marc Latest AAL Article My blog Join my forum!

What you need is a TV, no aerial, and a DVD player. Especially now that DVD-R's are so cheap - if it's not been officially released on DVD, you're bound to find it. I've recently started making DVD's out of live shows I downloaded when I had ADSL, and getting DVD rips of videos by bands like Jackyl and Extreme ( listening to Jackyl 'Headed for destruction' as we speak... ). I also despise TV, but I'll watch a movie or so a week on DVD, and buy a lot of doco stuff like Blue Planet and old TV shows like Married: With Children. Alternatively, if I am sick, my notebook plays DVD's. Hope you feel better soon. Christian I have drunk the cool-aid and found it wan and bitter. - Chris Maunder

I am a no TV man myself. For entertainment while doing tedious tasks (or while sick) I listen to books on tape, or audible.com... DTrent

I'm sick right now too. I picked up a really nasty cold with persistent cough and low-grade fever while flying back from California on the 29th. Sucks.

Get your temperature up a little more and wait until the hallucinations start. They'll give you all the entertainment you need. ;-) Get well soon.! Hotter than boiling water! :omg:! (;)) Take care! :rose:
And all the girlies say I'm pretty fly for a white guy
I hope the original poster with the 103 temp is better today... Karl, sorry hon, but I believe that he was referring to his temperature in degrees Farenheight ... The 100 degrees for water's boiling point is in degrees Celsius. Otherwise, if his temperature really were above the boiling point, his blood might be boiling too. (I do not know if blood has a higher or lower boiling point than water- I assume they're close....) Sorry for the nitpick, just the scientist in me... The Metric Police blueSprite
