I checked SpamCop and 207.219.70.3 is blacklisted for spam which Arin.net reports as Dundas block. Thier sample headers list a "from" of an att source. Is CodeProject blacklisted completely for spam? Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com

If people report our newsletter as spam then we're blacklisted. It sucks. We'd prefer people unsubscribe themselves or just email me with a request but some people prefer the kneejerk reaction which then puts others at an inconvenience. :sigh: cheers, Chris Maunder

What was interesting though was the sample headers. Did not look like there were from CodeProject. PS. It does appear to be the IP that sends peoples replies to postings and the IP that the newsletter goes out on is not listed on SpamCop. Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com

Yes, but IIRC, you have to make an active choice to sign up for the newsletter. The real problem is that some people are.. well, uhm. stupid and/or analfabets. :) -- He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich.

Do you have a list of IP that CP uses to send mail that we can add to our server white lists? Rocky <>< www.HintsAndTips.com

What about the "No newsletter" be the default setting when creating an account (only to download some code) ?
