I've been procrastinating my hair cut for a while now and now it's reached a stage where the necessity to have it overrides my inborn dread for hair cuts. I'll have to drive through some very heavy Saturday-Night city traffic to reach my favorite hair-cutting place and the thought does not make my already-dull mood any better. How do you guys handle hair cuts? :sigh: Nish

A friend does. She learned (and worked as) hairdresser, but now tries to move on. it's convenient. She drops by at my place, or we meet up at hers before going out / meeting friends a bit earlier.

I tend to forget haircuts until complete strangers start tossing me spare change when I'm sitting alone in the park. There's nothing particularly traumatic about them, I just forget. There seems to be a certain length at which people start asking if I'm related to Chuck Norris, which began again last week, so I use that as a barometer to indicate when it's time again for the shears. Then again, there's always the challenge of finding the shop I go to open. It took years to get this girl trained to cut my hair properly, but she only works when she feels like it - must be nice...:sigh: Heard in Bullhead City - "You haven't lost your girl -
you've just lost your turn..." [sigh] So true...

I'm pretty lucky, my mom went to school to be a hairdresser/beutician. My sister-in-law also went to the same school (obviously quite a few years later :) ) So all I have to do is call home, or go visit my brother and his wife. I've never liked hair cuts though, I like having the excess hair off (believe me I wear it short) but I hate sitting through the cuts. Matt Newman If you chose to continue this discussion, I am fully prepared to make you my bitch. I invite you to ask around, and you'll find out that I'm quite capable of doing so - John Simmons on Trolls

Its been 9 years since I've had a serious haircut, so its pretty long now. I just hack off the ends myself every once in a while.
