Why is it that even though I don't own a TV, a microwave, only listen to NPR on the radio, and have a computer capable of playing DVD's but don't own a single DVD, and yet, last night I had a full color, narrated, background music, flashy graphics and animation, dream of a commercial for RICE DREAM[^] rice milk??? Last night I dreamt I was the left flank for the Springboks against the Kiwis. I was not the star or the loser, just kept the ball moving and made those important tackles. We were far behind and had 5 minutes to go, the Kiwis started getting cocky and we ran in a few quick tries under their noses. Odd. The previous night I dreamt I was a Liberator in some strange land of munchkins. There would just be hordes of them standing around our APC or barracks when we exited and to get anywhere or do anything we just had to mow them down (I never ran out of bullets). They just stood there and died in their countless multitudes. I hope to god it was not something I ate... regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? >I wish I'd posted in the soapbox! Yeah, then I could talk about those Asian cheerleading twins from Monday night... >"the winning team". It was weird, I did not feel like us Liberators were winning. The more we killed the more there were. We were so apathetic about all of it, like we had just been posted there without much thought, rhyme or reason. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass South Africa Christopher Duncan quoted: "...that would require my explaining Einstein's Fear of Relatives" Crikey! ain't life grand? Marc, It's not something you've had to eat, I'm sorry to say, you see ... it's all the errant radio and T.V. signals that are present in our everyday lives. Your brain has managed to establish some form of "link" to these waves and CBS is now broadcasting commercials directly into your mind. Before you know it, you'll be dreaming about Janet Jackson's left breast flopping out of her shirt while she drinks a Pepsi. I can hardly wait to see how Microsoft is going to, excuse the pun, top that ... or make that topless ... D.

Was it something I ate? Marc Latest AAL Article My blog Join my forum!

I can't remember, except that it was very distressing. It's probably something to do with the amount of emotional pain I'm carrying around at the moment. :( I had some real freaky ones last time I was here. You probably don't want to know the gory details though... ;) Anna :rose: Homepage | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. On the issue of dreaming, I've had quite a bit of luck with directed dreaming. I focus on a simple meditation while falling asleep (not an easy task, mind you!). For example, I've been fighting this bronchitis thing, and I did a meditation on "healing myself". I had this great dream in an American Indian motif where someone literally pulled the sickness out of a certain area of my chest. The next morning I felt way better! Amazing, isn't?
