laugh out loud, loudly and uncontrollably, preferably with tears running down your cheek from laughing? For me it's Absolutely Fabulous hands down. Nothing else on TV is as funny, but "Arrested Development" and "The Office" are a close second. P.S. If you don't have a tv or you don't think anything is funny, start your own thread.

Have I Got News For You[^] The funniest programme on British Television. The only programme that I've had to reach for my asthma inhaler whilst watching, because I've given myself breathing problems whilst laughing too much. Running a close second, not a TV programme but a radio programme I'm sorry I haven't a clue[^] Michael But you know when the truth is told, That you can get what you want or you can just get old, Your're going to kick off before you even get halfway through. When will you realise... Vienna waits for you? - "The Stranger," Billy Joel

A british show, now repeated on satellite - Goodness Gracious Me ! I've had a lot of asian friends and colleagues over the years so see a lot of the side jokes that others might miss. As for a US comedy - current: Scrubs, past: Soap ! In fact, overall Soap  Elaine :rose: The tigress is here :-D

Yeah, this one is excellent! The Janitor is perhaps my favorite character.

Seriously? Tears running down your cheeks laughing out loud, possibly rolling on the floor? Or just the funniest thing out of many things you watch, but not necessarily ROTFLYAO? (Admittedly I've only ever watched about 2 minutes of it once by accident as I avoid any medical related show like the plague.)

Yeah seriously. Every single episode makes me laugh out loud at least once. Whoich is a damn site more than can be said for most comedies around at the moment. Plus it makes a change from the Simpsons. Not that I've got anything against the Simpsons. It's just Sky One has them on every single day and after a few years of hearing the same jokes over and over you get a bit bored. pseudonym67 My Articles[^] "We're Living At The Edge Of The World And The Criticisms Coming And It's Dragging Us Down But I Wont Be Shot Down" At The Edge Stiff Little Fingers

Second that! Father Ted is one of the best British comedy TV programs ever made. I can also always laugh at Monty Python's jokes (should be obvious looking at my signature) :-)
