Happy new year! Is this for Iran only, or a Muslim event? Just wondering so I can surprise my Bangladeshi office mate in two days time if it's for all Muslims, by wishing him a happy new year

Hmm, so if I have a cat who's part Persian, I should wish him a happy new year? :-D Remember, even if you win the rat race, you're still a rat.

:) Eventhough I show signs of senility every now and then, I still remember some things.. :-D I even knew how to write my name in Farsi once. Farsi is the official name of your language, right? In Swedish it's called Persiska = Persian in English. I remember wanting to be left handed when writing in Farsi - it's really hard to write from right to left! After that I felt I could sympathize with left handed people :) -- Futue te et ipsum caballum.
