My Palm IIIc is getting a little flakey. I have been eyeing a Pocket PC but for 300UKPounds I can get a used low end laptop. Okay the laptop will be harder to fit in my pocket but I am starting to think it would be a better option. In particular, I won't need 'pocket' versions of applications ;) What would you choose? Davy

I prefer to have a laptop myself , but as long as size is important, if you only need some email handling, origanizer or this things pocket pc is prefered. Mazy "Man is different from animals in that he speculates, a high risk activity." - Edward Hoagland

Laptop without a doubt! Especially as you can get smartphones (email, MSN Messenger, MP3 player, etc) for free on Orange contracts .

Thanks - look like the Laptop is the winner! I'll still keep the palm to get the best of both worlds. Davy
