    R.I.P. Britains ugliest building[^] I grew up in a town not too far from there - and this building was every bit as bad as it sounds - if Hell was made out of concrete, then The Tricorn would be Cocytus. I have to say I was quite pleased, watching the demolition work start on the news last night :-D

      I find it totally baffling that there are people that actually wanted to see this montrosity SAVED! Some woman on South Today last night was in TEARS and said she'd move out of Portsmouth! WTF?

                It's a good thing that these 70's monstrosities all need pulling down about now. Concrete only has a life of about 25 years! Eventually they will all be gone, yippeeee!:-D Ant.
