This is not even about popups...Just try to compare the access speed to your hotmail box with yahoo box...It's amazing, I believe MSFT is integrating some for(int i=0;i<1000000...cycles in their code to thrive hardware grows and push inet speed limits going forward;))

Pop-ups must be good for you or Microsoft wouldn't use them.

It's their push to get people to use the Google toolbar or GMail. Microsoft really believes in Google as a company, and wants to do everything they can to help them. It's plenty fast for me. Perhaps it's because MSN actually uses images and Yahoo! - since day one - seems to be opposed to images.

Sympathies. I (*and I think I'm not alone) use hotmail only as a spam id to sign onto sites that I suspect might give it to spammers. Then I check it for awhile to see if anything happens and if not move it to yahoo or my office id. *(Think Grauss also does something similar) " Why oh why didn't I take the blue pill ? "

Seriously, I'd get either toolbar ASAP, unless you're on a different browser. It'll decrease your chance of picking up malware, and it is useful to be able to search instantly. Regards, Jeff Varszegi EEEP!  An Extensible Expression Evaluation Package
