    I found a great tool to play around :-) The resourcehacker its a tool that explore binary files for resource, you can replace all kind of resource with it..! Why not the boring startup picture in win2k its hidden in NTOSKRNL.EXE (make a backup!)         I found a few of these programs a while ago and impressed some co-workers when I resized a dialog in a horrible app that we used so more could be seen in a long list at once. (They had no idea what I had done, even though it's pretty simple) "das leid schlaft in der maschine" -Einstürzende Neubauten

              you can do it with VisualC++ when you open the exe you want to hack as resource. Stephane
