Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good C/C++ editor for Red Hat Linux? I do most of my development in Visual Studio but want to mess around with Linux alittle bit. If anyone knows of a good editor that would be great! Thanks again everyone and have a great long weekend :) There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

I'd try KDevelop (www.kdevelop.org[^]). It's part of newer RedHat distributions (RH9 and Fedora), so you might not have to download it.

KDevelop is great. It is a bit clucnky on slower machines, but on anything that runs Gnome or KDE properly you'll have no issues. Otherwise try Kylix from Borland.

Try using the free personal edition of Borland C++ BuilderX for linux. It is very easy for people who are migrating from Windows.
